Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
April 24
To celebrate National Volunteer Week, join us for Damar's first ever Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on Thursday, April 24th. Enjoy dinner, music, exclusive volunteer swag, and more at our Damar Village Activity Center. Anyone who has volunteered in the past year will receive an invitation via email. RSVPs accepted until Friday, April 11th.
In 2025, Damar will begin hosting monthly Volunteer Thursdays. While we are unable to accommodate individual requests for independent services at this time, these opportunities are available on a Thursday each month to individual volunteers or can be accommodated for a group to act as a day of service. Mark your calendars for these upcoming opportunities and be sure to keep an eye out for future opportunities to get involved. Click here for more information.

Are you interested in starting a company volunteer group? Groups of 10-25 volunteers tend to be the best fit for custom projects. Smaller groups work perfectly for leading activities in the Damar Village Center or for assisting with a special event. Please email [email protected] for more information.

- Leading activities for small groups of adults in the Damar Village Center (game night, cookie decorating, Zumba, football watch party, etc.)
- Sorting and organizing Prom dresses for future events
- Various maintenance projects like painting an outdoor bridge or weeding in the garden
- Installing lights and decorating outdoors for the drive-through Damar Holiday Village
